Responsibilities of Driver Education

1.The student has the responsibility to arrive prepared and on time

      a.     Students must complete 30 full hours of online class, six (6) hours driving time, and six (6) hours of in-car observation.

          • Students must be non-aggressive while driving (following speed limits, following distances, etc).

          • Students must follow instructor's instructions while driving

          • The student has the responsibility to be attentive and actively participate in every class and drive lesson. This is the basis for the attitude portion of your grade.

          • Pagers and cell phones are to be turned OFF, not on vibrate, during class, or driving.

          • Sleeping is not acceptable, and will be cause for dismissal from that day's class/drive, and will be made up at a later date.
